Kim Soo-hyun has won key court cases against those spreading false claims about him. His career is still on pause while he clears his name.

Kim Soo-hyun won a recent court battle. A Seoul court ruled against YouTuber Kim Se-ui. The YouTuber runs a channel called Ga Se-yeon. He spread lies linking Kim to the late actress Kim Sae-ron. This included fake audio clips.
The court approved seizing two of the YouTuber's apartments. It also awarded Kim damages for defamation and stalking.
Kim denied dating Sae-ron when she was underage. He said they dated briefly as adults in 2019. Sae-ron died in February 2025. Her family made claims against him. But courts found much of it fabricated.
Kim's agency sued the family and others. More cases are ongoing.
Right now, Kim is not working much. His Disney+ series Knock-Off is on hold. It may get shelved or reworked. Brands like Prada and Shinhan Bank dropped him. They cited the controversy.
Kim stays private. He focuses on legal fights to restore his image. No word on a full comeback yet.
Fans support him strongly. They say the attacks were about money. The YouTuber's channel views are down. It seems to be failing.
Kim's past dramas keep airing worldwide. Shows like My Love from the Star are popular in places like Brazil and Mexico.
